Beverage Production

During the production of carbonated beverages, fruit juice beverages, etc., a large amount of foam is generated. For example, during the canning process of carbonated beverages, the release of carbon dioxide easily forms foam. Defoamers can effectively suppress the formation of foam, ensuring that the beverages can be canned smoothly and avoiding foam overflow, which would cause waste and affect the appearance of the packaging. Moreover, defoamers do not affect the taste and quality of the beverages, as they are food - grade certified and are safe and harmless when used within the specified amount.

Food Processing

In many stages of food processing, such as fermentation, cooking, and stirring, foam may be produced. Taking the fermentation process as an example, during the production of bread, yogurt, and other foods, the fermentation of yeast produces carbon dioxide gas, resulting in the appearance of foam. Defoamers can control the amount of foam and make the fermentation process more stable. In the production of edible oil, when the oil is refined and degummed, the stirring operation generates foam, and defoamers can promptly eliminate the foam, improving production efficiency and product quality.
